Gmail

Cut down visual noise in your inbox—narrow the layout, tuck away menus, and keep only what you need on screen.

  • Narrow your inbox width

Pick a comfortable width for your inbox and messages—small, medium, large, or full screen like Gmail normally shows.

  • Hide the Gmail logo

Remove the Gmail logo at the top of the page.

  • Hide the left menu until you need it

Inbox, labels, and other items stay out of the way until you hover over the menu or open it. The Compose button can stay visible, or move to a floating button.

  • Floating Compose button

Put Compose in a small button at the bottom-right corner instead of the left sidebar.

  • Hide the toolbar above your emails

Select, Refresh, and other controls above your message list stay hidden until you move your mouse over that area.

  • Hide the add-ons panel

Remove the panel on the right used for Gmail add-ons.

  • Hide the search bar

Remove the search box at the top.

  • Use a smaller search bar

Show a compact search field in the center that expands when you click or hover on it.

  • Hide top-right icons

Hide Support, Settings, Studio, Gemini, and Google apps. Your profile picture stays visible. Hover that corner to bring the other icons back.

  • Hide footer links

Remove links and promos at the bottom of Gmail.

YouTube

Focus on the video—hide Shorts, comments, suggestions, and other clutter. Most changes kick in as soon as you flip a switch.

  • Hide the left menu until you need it

Give videos more room on screen. Move your mouse to the left edge or the menu button to open navigation when you want it.

  • Hide the Create button

Remove the upload button at the top.

  • Hide notifications

Remove the bell icon at the top.

  • Hide voice search

Remove the microphone button next to search.

  • Hide the YouTube logo

Remove the YouTube or Premium logo at the top.

  • Hide category filters

Remove the filter buttons under search on the home page.

  • Hide Shorts

Remove Shorts rows and Shorts links in the menu.

  • Hide comments

Remove the comments section while watching a video.

  • Hide suggested videos

Remove the list of recommended videos on the right.

  • Hide end screens

Remove overlays and cards that appear at the end of a video.
